Congratulations to the RJHS 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year, Jessica Baldwin!
Jessica Baldwin is the Library Media Specialist at Russellville Junior High School. She is in her 13th year of education and her 7th as a Library Media Specialist. She graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education. She began her teaching career as an English and ESL Academy teacher at Russellville Junior High and has been a Whirlwind ever since. She taught English for 6 years at RJHS and then became the Library Media Specialist in 2017. In 2018 she graduated with a Master of Education in Library Media Studies. She is currently working on her MSE/Ed.S in Ed Leadership at Arkansas State University. Jessica is also the Parent Involvement Coordinator and Website Content Creator for RJHS. She serves on her school's leadership team and the RJHS Guiding Coalition. Jessica is also a part of the 2023-2024 Class of RSD Ambassadors. Jessica has served on several building and district committees during her career in the Russellville School District. She loves being a part of the great things RSD is doing and hopes to continue to help RSD grow those efforts in the future.
