ROBERT HILL

Robert Hill is a student at Russellville Intermediate School and was celebrated at the School Board meeting for being an Empathetic Leader. Robert shows kindness, leadership, and strength whether someone is watching or not.

As a member of the Storm basketball team and a school ambassador, Robert stays actively involved in his school. His favorite subjects are math and science, which are taught by his homeroom teacher, Mrs. Cindy Haley. When asked what empathy means to him, Robert explained, "It means to put yourself in someone else's shoes, understanding their feelings, and being sympathetic toward their emotions."

Mrs. Haley spoke highly of Robert, saying "Robert is an outstanding 5th-grade student who consistently demonstrates academic excellence, leadership, and kindness. He approaches challenges with determination and inspires his classmates through collaboration and encouragement. He's always looking for ways to help others. His commitment to excellence and exemplary character is why he was nominated for the Profile of a Graduate."

Robert Hill was recognized at the January Board meeting for being an Empathetic Leader. This recognition comes from the Profile of the RSD Graduate, which outlines the attributes RSD graduates will encompass when they graduate.

Great job, Robert! Thank you for being an excellent example for your fellow students!
