Russellville School District began the new school year with 49 new teachers
throughout the district.\r\n
\r\nThe new teachers were introduced to the district at the New Teacher Academy that was held on July 25-27. The New Teacher Academy is an induction program to support newly hired teachers and provides essential professional development, team building, and mentoring to the new teachers. During the three days, the new teachers met with administrators and their mentors, learned about district policies and procedures, and participated in team building activities.
